This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. Simply perfect, should be a 5* hotel! Food was sublime, atmosphere on point & staff attentiveness to detail was second to none! Hotel was expertly decorated and furnished throughout. Highly recommend & special thank you to Emma G on the reception team who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon here one to remember. Stayed in room 50 (honeymoon suite) and extremely recommend for sheer luxury in one room!

Located in Cavan, within 11 miles of Maudabawn Cultural Centre and 16 miles of Monastery of Kells, The Bailie has accommodations with a bar as well as free private parking for guests who drive. On first impression you would think a 2 star would be sub standard parts of it is just the decor & well worn setting in the front bar however the rooms are of a 4 star quality ( brand new refurbished) there is alot to aesthetically but the welcome we recieved was second to none nothing was a problem . The beds are super comfortable along with an excellent shower & complimentary toiletries/ tea coffee . The food was great value for money and the burgers delicious, staff although all young had excellent customer service skills . We had to leave early and the chef came in 1hr earlier to ensure we had a breakfast, and gave us fresh fruit salad and homemade scones to go . Thanks to Pat for opening up the dining room earlier . We will definitely return .

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town center. It was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly!

Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, to be appreciated in rainy days especially. Food in the pub was good, breakfast offered a buffet along wth a menu to choose from, portions were quite satisfying.

Everything. The location is so peaceful with beautiful trails and gardens around the hotel. The staff goes extra mile to make the stay memorable. Special thanks to Orla from reception for arranging a picnic for two for us at a lovely boathouse. We will definitely come back.

Located in the center of Cavan town on the main street, The Farnham Arms Hotel features a bar and restaurant. The staff of the Farnham Arms Hotel is always the friendliest and most accommodating! I love the breakfast and the fact that the hotel is in the heart of Cavan. Easy to park behind and get around the town.

Located in Arvagh, 13 miles from Cavan Genealogy Centre, Breffni Arms Hotel has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Wonderful hotel and amazing family running the establishment and they could not to do more for us. Amazing breakfast included and we ate dinner there both nights because the food and people were so wonderful!! So helpful for suggestions on local attractions and transportation. This is a must stay!
