Easy walking distance to the city centre, easily accessible by car from the main roads, large parking, very close to the palace, quiet at night and very comfortable! Also I love their breakfast buffet! This is already the second time I stay here, and I will gladly come back!

Very conveniently located in the heart of the town near the chateau and park
Located in the heart of Fontainebleau, ibis Château de Fontainebleau offers modern guest rooms, just 200 metres from the Palace of Fontainebleau. You can enjoy a drink from the on-site bar.
Lovely little town full of friendly people. The Chateau Fontainebleau was spectacular! My husband and I have toured Versailles twice, but always found it extremely crowded and so difficult to take things in, while being jostled by other guests. Fontainebleau was nothing like that at all. It IS a magnificent chateau, not to be missed in terms of size, architecture and beauty. What is missing is the crowds. Most of the time, we were alone in the rooms (save a few security guards). It made it so much more pleasant to be able to actually take our time and really look at things rather than being constantly jostled along by the crowds of tourists. If you are anywhere nearby, definitely take the time to see it.

Fontainebleau is easily the rival of Versailles, and the bonus is there are far less people squeezing around. The gardens are perfect for a stroll around the water features, people picnicking on the grass and exploring hidden gems within them. The Palace was amazing, without the gold bling of some but with vastly richer history and ornate features easily a match for anything.
The town clearly has a multitude of dining options, we got Italian from Pizza Mimi which was wonderful, and we found a quaint little church and some unique little shops in the short time after the Palace closed.
Skip the day-trip do yourself a favour and stay longer to properly explore everything this beautiful part of France just out of Paris has to offer.

We had a family break celebrating my 60th birthday on Easter Sunday and we met up with family who live nearby. There is plenary to do for the Easter break in the hotel. They provide everything you need and more. Lovely feel staff friendly. We didn’t eat food as we did our own celebrations but it looked lovely and well laid out. I would happily stay here again.

We took the tourist train thru the gardens to get our orientation, then did our own walk. Even in October it was a great walk.
Did a self guided tour of the chateau with an audio guide - much better with the guide than it would have been without. Some amazing history explained!
The shops, restaurants & the walk ability were all great.

My visit to Fontainebleau was to watch the Ladies Real Tennis World Championships in the Chateau. Great event , hotel was close by . The staff in the restaurants visited were all great , despite a busy Easter week with great weather and lots of tourists . Dined at both lower price and higher price restaurants .
The hotel seemed understaffed and the front desk was constantly busy. The price was not exactly low so, given the very basic room (small, no hand towels, outdated bathroom, hard bed), and having to pay extra for parking and breakfast, it was not very good value at all. No restaurant, but walking distance to good restaurants. Still, the staff was friendly and nice, and tried their best -- they are not to blame.
This is a lovely hotel and reflects the Ibis brand. The location is fantastic, really close to the chateau and lots of lovely restaurants. Parking was easy and very cheap at the Chateau parking lot 2 minutes away. Breakfast was delicious with a broad range of food available. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
Staff and owner would offer to help with anything! So helpful! Beautiful small hotel steps from the famous Chateau and from a dozen or more cafes and restaurants. Spotless inside, relaxing center courtyard. Start you trip to Burgundy wine country by heading out of Paris or CDG and go here first.
The space was located in close proximity to the Chateau Fontainebleau. It is also very close by to the Monoprix (grocery store), and the farmer's market that sets up several times per week. There are bus stops close by and lots of restaurants and cafes.
I Chose it because of its fabulous location right opposite Fontainebleau château. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming and the accommodation was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and our view was of the chateau.
Excellent location for Chateau. Buffet breakfast had many nice choices including scrambled eggs and bacon. Very comfortable bed. Parking best at Chateau lot on street behind hotel.
The hotel haas a garage where we could park our bicycles. We were able to leave our luggage for the day and when we returned found they had delivers the bags up the stairs for us.
Hotel was cute, garden was very nice , rooms are very sparse and felt like dorm rooms for a college, location was very nice, the blue color made the small rooms feel even smaller,
Great location for Château de Fontainebleau and the town of Fontainebleau. Nice breakfast. Clean.
Friendly staff. There was a fan in the room to bell with the warmer weather.
Small and cozy place, right in the center of Fontainebleau. Easy to access and the owner was very nice and allowed to reschedule when our flight was moved! Would recommend.
Great location, modern facility, ample free parking, reasonable price: all excellent reasons to stay here.
This will always be our #1 choice hotel in Fountainebleau .
A little lovely hotel with very friendly staff. I wish come here again. Location was great, close restaurants, cafes, shopping. I didn't need a transport.
Very friendly host, very easy to communicate, very nice flat with enough Space for ~4 people (we were only 2) and lots of new equipment in Kitchen etc.
