It's a beautiful city, but there is nothing to do in the colder weather. Everything closes quickly on Sundays. I recommend visiting this city in the warmer months of the year. Definitely check out Mini Zoo!

Pärnu is old bathing centre, with wonderful historical buildings, and villas dating back from Jugend and Art Noveau periods. Our stay in Pärnu was in early August, yet the sea water temparatures were seasonally relatively low. There were few swimmers at the main beach, as the weather was windy with occasional showers of rain. But the landscape and seascape were marvellous and there is plenty to do also in the old town. The restaurant scene has much improved in the past years and there is reasonable variety available for both budget travellers and more high-end venues. Everything is reasonable near-by and walking or cycling around is practical.

A wonderful city with clean streets and a beautiful beach!
I didn't stay long, as it was just a place for me to stay in the hotel and have lunch, but I will never cease to be amazed, at how nice Parnu is every time I visit this place.
We had food at 'Vehverments Bar & Tostadas' and I was very impressed by how delicious and affordable it was. Yellow hummus is a must-try!

Pärnu is lovely with lots of trees and green areas as well as old buildings on the seaside of the bridge. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Summer time, and plenty of activities for kids and adults.
Not all places, especially hotels, have good vegan options yet. Also the sea brings a lot of humidity so drying laundry can be challenging and some buildings have mold problems. I definitely do not recommend staying in a wooden building if you have any sensitivity to mold.
Pärnu beach is very long and shallow, making it safe for kids. The rest of the old town side is also otherwise safe, so I'd definitely recommend the destination to families or elderly people.

Pärnu is major Estonian resort city.
Pärnu is major Estonian resort city. If it is hot day the Pärnu Beach, it the place to go. Beach has big female nudist area. Beach has good quality sand and long shallow bathing area. City has lot of big resort hotels with numerous Spa, health healing facilities and water centres. These hotels are close to the beach area. Beach area itself is well developed and has lot of villas and parks nearby. City itself has small town atmosphere and the centre is lovely with lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can walk everywhere City is not overcrowded (except in hot summer days) and is good place to have a short 2–4-day holiday. City is popular among Finnish tourists.
Try cafe “Supelsaksad” nice food and cakes, hotel “Tervise Paradiis” for kids water center, hotel “Estonia” and “Tervis” for medical facilities, hotel “Villa Ammende”, “Hedon” or “Wasa” for upscale Spa holiday. Pärnu has popular theatre “Endla” (only Estonian) and philharmonic concert hall (concerts and festivals year round). There are numerous sport facilities, good tennis grounds, excellent golf course is 20m drive from city center.

During our short stay in Pärnu, we enjoyed the beautiful beach, explored the charming city streets, and found a great playground for the kids. We would love to return for a longer visit and further explore the city's captivating charm, inviting beaches, and family-friendly attractions.
SPA center seemed to be pretty fresh (newly remodeled). All rooms were to their standards, depending on the type of room booked. Cheaper rooms - more simpler. Expensive rooms - more friendlier and closer-to-home. None complains from a larger group of people from different type of rooms.
Within the suite room, there was a sauna which was nice to use, even in the middle of the night (thus consider upgrading a room as it also was/should be in a quieter place of a hotel).
The check in was very easy with keypads. The building is quite attractive, wooden architecture with a balcony. It is about halfway between the beach and Pärnu old town (8 minutes walking each way). Plenty of coffee places and restaurants. The owners were great and immediately brought us a wine opener that had been missing in the kitchen.
I really liked wooden interior. Hostel it's located in quiet area and we slept very well. Owner is very friendly! She showed me everything in kitchen, we had small talk about Estonia, Parnu and she advised us wich places to visit in Parnu. Really caring person - we felt like we stay in cousins house. :)
The hotel looks a bit dated but is otherwise clean and well equipped. The pool area has plenty of pools and baths to choose from. Buffet breakfast and dinner were tasty and with reasonable price - and kids ate for free :)
There's also a small shop for snacks and drinks on site.
Wifi was decent.
Very nice open apartment. Very good location close to centrum .Good parking spot and good to stay with us dog in this apartment. In Apartment was everything what you need and especially i love it Sauna!. Very easy communication with a owner.Sure we stay again if we coming visit in Párnu!
The location is super nice, few metres to the main street in Parnu. Receptionists are charming and lovely. She even explained me some main spots in the village. Buffet is large enough and has a bit of everything. Room has the perfect size and the hotel is very calm.
It is a motel with a serene location as it's right next to the Parnü River, the staff is always helpful, it has a good breakfast buffet and very conveniently a bicycle rental service that is very well priced and can help you move around Parnü with ease.
Cosy hotell, very kind staff, excellent breakfast, location perfect, free parking space for the car. Everything in walking distance. Many restaurants and shops nearby, only some 12 min. walk to the wonderful beach.
Excellent two bedroom apartment. Everything you need for living is there. Great balcony, quiet. Very responsive and friendly hostess. The villa is located near the beach and Estonia Spa Hotel.Free parking.
Beautifully decorated and furnished hotel and great location right next to beach and within a walking distance from the center of Pärnu. The free yoga class offered by the hotel was a perfect addition!
The hotel has made great improvements in communications and the breakfast selection was excellent. Of course the spa staff has always been over the top with their services. One of the best in Estonia.
Nice, Comfortable historic hotel in the centre of Old Pärnu. Hotel restaurant is closed in winter, but there is good restaurant Edelweiss just other side of the street and few more close to.
Nice small family hotel, the bed was very big and comfortable, mini bar, balcony, coffeemaker. Breakfast was very tasty, a lot of meals. Nice swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna.
