Set in Nungwi, 400 metres from Nungwi Beach, Canary Nungwi Hotel & Free SPA offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. It was a beautiful environment and during our stay they had just finished building another outdoor area that had a hammock and lots of sun chairs! They had a pool table, a ping pong table and darts and not to mention the lovely pool with a waterfall in the centre. The room was perfect for us and so nice with the air conditioning. The food very tasty from the restaurant and different options for breakfast each morning! It is a small 5min walk to the beach and they provide beach towels for you whenever you need! We had a great 7 days here and would come back in a heartbeat!

The staff was so kind and attentive , they were paying extra attention to detail , and they made this experience even better . I would like to mention Daisy in the front desk who took care of all of our needs and excursions through out our stay . We will definitely recommend it and come back soon .

Babalao Bungalows has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Nungwi. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a terrace and a bar. The bungalows are located in a great location which is just around the corner from the beach. They offer a delicious breakfast and a good variety of food if you want to have dinner, like us, in the evening without having to leave the place. If you need any help to arrange things, the owners will take good care of you to make sure you have a great stay!

Featuring a private beach area, a year-round outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi, Mahali Zanzibar is set in Paje, Zanzibar. The hotel features a sun terrace and views of the sea. Spacious and clean rooms with great sea view. Helpful and hospitable staff and owners. Good, well-maintained facilities and a lovely pool. Breakfast is 'a la carte', starting with a fruit platter and continuing with a great variety of options. There was no restriction - you could order everything you liked from the menu. Hotel was very helpful in arranging our transportation to/from Zanzibar ferry terminal (it is strongly recommended to book a taxi through the hotel, as it is much cheaper and safer than any 'driver' approaching you outside the ferry). The hotel also arranged for us a visit to the Blue Lagoon (again at a much lower price that what tourists could find on their own), where we had a chance to see the spectacular coral reef and its exotic marine species. One of the greatest assets of the hotel is its location right on the beautiful Paje beach, ideal for relaxation, jogging or water sports. (First-time visitors are advised not to pay too much attention to locals trying to sell you stuff, as they will not leave you alone until you buy something from them - usually overpriced at 'tourist rates'.) Around the hotel there is a local market, where you can buy spices, local handicraft and other goods. For handicraft, be prepared to negotiate hard, as the initial quoted prices are quite high.

I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Sunny Villa Matemwe has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Matemwe. We cannot describe in words how much we enjoyed our time at sunny villa. Our host Samir has been helpful from start to finish in every matter and made our time comfortable. The stuff was really friendly and helpful. We had a sad feeling to leave Sunny villa because it has been the best time ever. We ate every day our lunch in Sunny Villa because the chef made delicious food😋 The room was specious, clean and it had everything. We couldn’t be happier. Best regards Anisa&Oissilat

Haber Hotel is a fantastic place! Small family hotel located in Matemwe, it offers comfort and quiet atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to all those who want to avoid the big crowded noisy touristic hotels on the coast but in the same time want to stay close to beautiful beaches (nearby you can find Muyuni beach and Matemwe beach). The owners, Kris and Kasha, are great and would do everything to make the stay of the guests unforgettable. The staff is very kind and the whole dynamic of this property is tailored to fit the needs and comfort of the guests. Breakfast is fabulous, served from 8am till noon, for those who like to sleep in late, and for lunch and dinner we could chose delicious options from a rich menu or even off menu. Pets are welcome (the hotel is actually named after Haber, the owners' cute Cocker Spaniel). At any time of our stay we felt welcome, safe, well taken care of and even spoiled.
