From the moment we booked the hotel to the moment we left, everything exceeded our expectations. This family-run hotel reached out to us after booking to confirm our stay (6+ months in advance). Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly smiles and very helpful tips on what to see and where to find things on Koh Tao. They sent us a message in the app with everything from viewpoints, restaurants, and local services we might be interested in. The room was very clean, the balcony had a nice cozy feel to it, and the laundry service offered was efficient. I can't speak highly enough about the cafe tied to the hotel. This entire hotel is family-run including the cafe. Their menu is excellent and offers a variety of homemade meals to cater to everyone. The food was fresh and the croissants...well, the croissants are some of the best we've ever had (especially the chocolate croissants)! Their location is ideal for couples or families looking to get away from the party beaches while still only being a 15 minute walk away from everything. Our 2 week trip across Thailand was made memorable largely from The Big Tree Boutique Hotel. If, and when, we come back I will certainly be staying here on Koh Tao.

We had ferry at 3:30pm and they secure our luggage after check-out and we could use beach chairs, towels and shower. I definitely recommend this place, because is clean, stylish and close to pier and city center.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Greenery Resort Koh Tao is located in the south of Koh Tao Island, 1.3 km from Mae Haad Pier. Amazing staff! They helped us book ferry tickets and they rent bikes there which is very convenient. The hotel is close to everything, but down a side street so very quiet at night. Big comfortable rooms and beds. Would stay again!

Beautiful location, pretty simple but had a lovely view, especially from the common area/redtaurant. Staff were lovely and helped us booking tours and ferries. We had included breakfast every day and it tasted delicious and was great value.

After 2 months of travel, the bed in the room was heaven! The rooms and hall way smelt great, we’re cleaned so well considering how close you are to the beach! The rooms are well priced, would be even better if I was splitting it with someone. Staff always helpful, I booked the island dive club on a whim and it was a great choice. 10/10 would do again.

I stayed with my girlfriend and just had a wonderful time. I book a wooden chalet villa. The villa’s are nice. All villa are facing the amazing sea and Nang Yuan Island. The views from our villa was breathtaking and the swimming awesome and very safe. It was so romantic when you stay at night. Beds are comfy. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel that they are in true paradise, and who has some sense of adventure. I loved it, super relaxed, food was good. The resort staff is just so lovely and helpful. The owners where there during our stay, lovely people. Great Stay !

Very helpful, answers all questions and concerns, helps with organization of the vacation. Very kind people. Huge contribution for 10/10. - Room. Simple but everything you need. Comfy bed. Comfy pillows. No TV but I believe in a place like this you don’t need it. Room service is fast and effective. - Restaurant. Good breakfast, good selection. Refilling food evening for late attendees. Nice Hotel where the rooms are of diferent design, clean garden, pool with superb views. We had a triple room which was big and comfortable. We liked the terrace with table, lounge chair and benchs and the hammoc in front. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant accross the street (which belongs to the property) was excellent and value for money. We found the hotel to be quiet, no loud music to be heard from the bars. We stood there for one week and enjoyed every day of it. From the ferry it is 10 min walk, with big luggage is difficult because the walk involves climbing a steep hill. There is a complimentary drop off to the ferry.

Everything was even more amazing as promised! The villa itself was FANTASTIC, and in top of the view and lovely pool, there was snorkling gear for all and a private terrasse by the ocean with a canoo and a paddle board.
