Hotell Furusund features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Furusund. With a bar, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This is the second time we come to the Furusund hotel and we are looking forward to coming back again. We have always done a lot of trips in almost all other European countries and we find that in Sweden, outside Stockholm, finding hotel choices of high standard is sadly very hard, they tend to be extremely overpriced, come linked with "experiences" that are mostly about drinking in well-decorated bar areas or sharing a spa with people who are drinking (drinking alcohol in the spa seems to be a highly valued activity) and we usually regret going. This is not the case here. This place is simple and beautiful. Elegant but no frills. Has everything you need (including a spa area if you are so inclined) in the nicest location. It is clean, the wifi works well, and it is overall a very relaxing experience. The best part is the food. Best breakfast ever, really pleasant. Last time we had dinner also (this time we were busy somewhere else) and I still remember it.

Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. very nice area and wonderful view and quiet area.

This early 1900s property is in Nynäshamn, on Trehörningen Island. It offers spa treatments, panoramic sea views and fine dining. Stockholm city centre is just 45 minutes’ drive away. The location of this hotel is just amazing, the facilities were excellent and relaxing in the spa was just what we needed after a long drive! We really enjoyed the location as it was lovely to walk along the waterfront and around the neighborhood and the rooms exceeded my expectations. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Smådalarö Gård Hotell & Spa is a unique and all year-round destination with curated experiences for all senses. Stunning location, convenient to the city but felt really disconnected. Great spa experience, the spa is big enough to allow you to fully relax in different areas. Sauna by the lake with view! Good walking trails from hotel. Small but good gym. Large choices for breakfast . Dinner also excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference centre Fågelbrohus offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the centre of Stockholm. Really nice outdoor pool and great that kids are not allowed in the evening shifts!. The food was also very good, and they serve a very complete breakfast. The staff was also very kind and helpful.

This countryside hotel is on Värmdö Island, 25 minutes’ drive from Stockholm city centre. Guests can enjoy fine dining, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The location is beautiful. Quiet, peaceful. Kayaks and swimming right there. Staff is amazing. Breakfast spread is wonderful. Restaurant for dinner has amazing dishes. There are hiking trails across the road. You can take the bus to town if you want to explore or go to a different restaurant.
