And the bartender, whose name we did not catch but she recently returned from studying at Cambridge, was a delightful conversationalist and lovely.

Located in Westerhaar-Vriezenveensewijk, 49 km from Theater De Spiegel, De Johanneshoeve provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Lovely location, very family friendly. We stayed at the 3-bedroom apartment, it was perfect for our family of 7. The place was clean and there were lots of games available. The garden had lots of places to sit and our children really enjoyed all the outdoor toys. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect.

U Parkhotel in Enschede features a terrace and a bar. It is located on the campus of University Twente. The rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Amazing location for attending exams in UTwente - near the Library and the Supermarket on Campus. Decent bang for the buck considering the location. Quiet and clean with polite and helpful staff. The hotel is very quiet and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The cleaning staff changes the sheets and toiletries every day. The bathroom has a built-in hair dryer so that you can travel light. If I have to go again, I will definitely choose this hotel over other marginally cheaper ones. I have lived in Enschede for quite some time and the hotel's location is probably in one of the quietest places possible at the UTwente campus and probably in the entire city. The hotel can also be entered after midnight with the room card, which makes it very convenient in case one wants to study in the library until midnight during the week or perhaps go partying during the weekend. The check-in and out process is also very quick and undemanding, leaving extra time for packing and unpacking

The location is pretty nice and calm and surrounded by nature. The room and bathtub are clean, nice, and big. The decoration style in the room is retro. The bed is surprisingly good and big, and the bed is even adjustable on the head and foot parts. The breakfast is a nice simple buffet that fully meets my expectation.
