Situated in Reykholt, within 19 km of Geysir and 29 km of Gullfoss Waterfall, Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle features free WiFi. Solid hotel in the golden circle. Although the check-in works automatically (got an email with the room number and access code (which they change daily)) there was a person at the reception during afternoon/evening. The hot water doesn't smell of sulfur. Nice hot tub

Situated in Ölfus, 48 km from The Pearl, Hotel Kvika features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The location was ideal for our needs, in the middle of the golden circle route, was able to tick off lots of sites, A car is essential though, Breakfast was perfect for what we wanted, when we asked about places to eat, The Greenhouse was recommended, we ended up going there every night, thanks for the tip. lots of parking space available, 3 or 4 separate communal areas available if we weren't wanting to stay in our bedroom, hopefully return to Iceland to finish off our tour, but will need to space out our hotels around Iceland, Thanks to all the staff at Hotel Kvika

Great interior, very close proximity to Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. We loved the breakfast and parking was really convenient.

The breakfast was very nice, the surroundings are beautiful even though we were not lucky with the weather. The staff was super helpful and the hotel was beautiful and cosy. All details were thought of in the interior and spa was super nice even though it could have been a bit cleaner.

Check in is located in the Restaurant on the property, so it took us a few to find check in. Room was comfy. Breakfast served was good and had your American and EUR favorites: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, pancakes, cookies, sandwich meat, beans(?), yogurt, coffee and juice. Cannot say anything about the view, since we arrived in the dark and left in the dark.
