The cute traditional-yet newly renovated and very comfortable hotel is located in the beautiful old port. People working there were super nice and provided us with great recommendations. Great location in town with easy self check in. The room was spotless and very spacious. The bed was comfortable, and having the fridge and microwave was a plus. Great price. Would definitely recommend.

The location is stunning, right on the start of the Arnarstapi coastal walk. The room is beautiful with a great shower and views of the mountain (and if you're lucky, a prime seat to the northern lights). The hotel has a small restaurant with lovely staff, they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Situated by the sea in the fishing village of Stykkisholmur, Hotel Stykkisholmur offers free Wi-Fi and brightly decorated rooms with a TV. Stykkisholms Golf Club is 100 metres away. We stayed in a suite, there was a private living and dinning room with a half bath and the bed room with a full bathroom off of it. There was a huge jacuzzi (4 people at least) and one of the largest showers I was ever in. The lighting is all adjustable (dimmable). The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good.
