Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. We got to this hotel around 21h and we were amazed by how big was our room and toilet! Is so praceful and THE Staff are just family! Is really lovely. Then we woke up to a beautiful landscape witht the tiver and the Mountains, on top of that a home made breakfast with warm bread and cake! You cant avoid but wake up Happy and have a great start of your day!

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. We reached this hotel in the evening, after hours on road it was our safe and comfortable place. Thanks a lot to reception guy (we forgot to ask the name), he was really nice and gave us some advises about visiting places around, also shout out to Austėja, thanks for recomendations, we saved a lot of time during next day trip to Reykavik. One more thing to mention, this hotel will stay in my memory for the all life, as the first Nothern light was captured here! Breakfast was perfect! Best regards from griup of lithuanians! 💚

Boasting panoramic views towards the famous Vatnajökull glacier and the surrounding mountains, Árnanes Country Hotel offers free Wi-Fi. The harbour town of Höfn is only 6 km away. The room was today and clean. Location was just outside of the main town to easy to travel in for food etc. Breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice and lots of homemade / local items. The staff were very friendly and informative as we were stuck in a storm due to road closures.

Situated next to Iceland’s Ring Road, this family-run farm hotel offers brightly decorated rooms with a TV and a private bathroom. The Hoffell Hot Springs are 25 km away. Location was great. The hotel is run by a family. During our stay an orange alert was announced due to bad weather conditions. We were stuck in the hotel and the family was so kind they gave all the information for choosing a safe travel plan and they let us stay almost till the end of the day. Food was exceptional and fabulous... Thank you Ms Pirna for your support...

Το Hotel Stadarborg βρίσκεται στην κοιλάδα Breiddalur, δίπλα στην οδό 1 και λιγότερο από 1 ώρα με το αυτοκίνητο από το Egilsstadir. Great place to have a stop for the night when entering the fjords. Good food friendly staff. And the hottub with the sauna makes it better.

Στα νοτιοανατολικά της Ισλανδίας, στην παραθαλάσσια πόλη Höfn, αυτό το ξενοδοχείο προσφέρει τοπική κουζίνα και μοντέρνα δωμάτια με ιδιωτικό μπάνιο και τηλεόραση επίπεδης οθόνης. Καθώς δεν υπήρχαν πολλά ανοικτά εστιατόρια, το ξενοδοχείο είχε δικό του εστιατόριο που ήταν ανοικτό ως αργά (22:00 αν θυμάμαι καλά). Το πρωινό πολύ ωραίο, το βράδυ ακούγαμε τα κύματά (όταν άνοιγες τα παράθυρα).

Το Hotel Skaftafell βρίσκεται σε μια εκπληκτική τοποθεσία και προσφέρει εντυπωσιακή θέα στο Hvannadalshnjukur που είναι το ψηλότερο βουνό της Ισλανδίας και στον Vatnajökull, τον μεγαλύτερο παγετώνα... Όλα ήταν όπως περιμέναμε

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Our stay in this hotel was amazing. We had everything we needed. There was a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. The room was clean and comfortable for group of 3. Tasty breakfast with a lot of options. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great mountains view from the window. Around 10 minutes to the big supermarket. I would like to come back to this place again.
