Situated in Dunkeld, Tay House is a self catering establishment with views of the River Tay. Tay House has a terrace at the back of the building with river views. Very warm welcome, friendly staff. Great parking right across the street. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and the self-service breakfast was the perfect option for me. The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building. What a superb stay: it really exceeded our expectations! The rooms were not only comfortable and cozy but also very beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the shower worked well. Even though we didn´t see the host, a letter had been left for us and it made us feel truly welcome. In addition, we would like to mention that Dunkeld is a beautiful place to explore by walking around, dining in restaurants, and visiting beautiful art galleries. Furthermore, a sublime bookstore with a remarkably well-chosen collection of books was literally next door – the place is called The Birnam Reader Bookshop and should be on every booklover's pocketlist.

Situated in 1.5 acres of elevated grounds, 'Knockendarroch Hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Pitlochry town centre. The service was exceptional, we were upgraded on arrival to a room with a balcony. The food was great and plenty of parking spaces. The rooms were a good size and comfortable.

It was easy to get to and away from the crush of people in busy Pitlochry. There was a very evident personal touch from the staff, who were friendly and made sure we were very comfortable. Breakfast was good (great coffee!) and hot. The house itself was nicely appointed and comfortable - didn’t leave one feeling like you shouldn’t touch anything because it is precious.
