Helen and her team where very friendly and efficient.Attention to detail was spot on every guest looked after.The accomadation was so comfortable and relaxing and the garden is beautiful and tranquil too.

The room was outstanding. Roomy, clean, comfortable beds, opening windows with cushioned seats in them, and an exceptional bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities that included fresh coffee and a press, as well as a thermos with milk. Very friendly people, good food, although, due to a busy Sunday the Cheeseburger was sold out, but that always makes me happy as they then do not come out of a freezer. Breakfast was perfect. Many choices, even up to a Bloody Mary if you are in need of one :-) Location right next to a road (hey, it is an inn...), ample parking and very close to Stourhead House. Also an easy couple of hours from Dover which makes it a nice target for your first or last night in Britain.

This is an excellent B & B which ticked all our boxes. The owner gave us a tip - a route to the city centre which avoided the main road. The route was a lot longer but was a really pleasant walk through countryside.

The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

The restaurant was EXCELLENT - much better than expected. Not only breakfast, but the Dinner was worth driving there specifically to eat, even if you stay elsewhere. The room was large and spacious, and the quality of the pillows, sheets, tea and coffee etc were all excellent. You could tell the person who decorated the room had a design flair. Very individual, and personalised.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant. Great choice of hot or cold foods at breakfast. Stylish rooms in a historic pub. Very friendly and professional staff, with the publican and his wife always on duty.

Bristol Airport and city centre are 28 miles away, while the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare is 45 miles. The local attractions of National Trust village Lacock and Longleat Safari Park are both within a 35-minute drive of the guesthouse. Our host was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The place was lovely with a great breakfast. It was a quiet neighborhood, very friendly. We had a short walk to an excellent pub too! Would definitely stay again!
