Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.

Twitchill Farm Holiday Cottage heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een patio en een waterkoker, op ongeveer 20 km van Buxton Opera House. Great location for a walking weekend with friends. Facilities were comprehensive and the pool was an added bonus after a long day hiking.

The Tytherington heeft een bar en een tennisbaan, en ligt in Macclesfield, op 12 km van Capesthorne Hall en 21 km van Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens. Helder hotel, goed ingerichte kamer met een ruim en goed tweepersoonsbed. Met auto goed bereikbaar. Voor de zwemliefhebbers en zwembad van 17 meter lang. Water niet helemaal helder. Engels ontbijt.

Whiston Hall ligt op het schilderachtige platteland van Staffordshire, op slechts 10 minuten rijden van Alton Towers. The hotel was really clean and tidy along with our rooms. The staff (Julie) was really welcoming, friendly, and helpful when we had questions. The food in the hotel was amazing really hot when it come out of the kitchen and had good portion sizes. Fantastic location with amazing views and it was so quiet, which was so nice after a whole day of exploring.
