We had a large room overlooking the gardens. The room was lovely and warm and there was a modern walk in on suite wet-room. The breakfast was fantastic and we needed a walk around the grounds to work it off. It was great to have free access to the castle and to be able to walk around the grounds before and after the day visitors arrived and left. The staff in the hotel and grounds were lovely and helpful.

The location is great, very close to the city center in a save and great location, there is a garage in the building for people who would leave their car.

Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.
