The hotel sits on a green hill and enjoys a breathtaking, first-row view of the valley below and of the lake - especially from the generous terrace used for breakfasts and dinners. Our 3-night stay was absolutely great. We felt welcome right away as we were so lucky to get upgraded to a family suite with view on the lake by the management. So did our dog who stayed with us and enjoyed the green, pristine hills surrounding the hotel, to the point of meeting - and chasing - a deer on her first walk at our arrival. The hotel management seems family-run and was exceptionally friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied. Altogether an amazing value for the money! The Attersee lake - just a few minutes drive - with its clear, turquoise waters and green, mountainous surroundings overwhelmed our senses. And so did the city of Salzburg just a 40min drive away. We can only recommend this hotel!

Surrounded by green gardens, Gasthof Hemetsberger is only 1 km from the Attersee Lake and 1.5 km from the centre of Attersee village. It offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant with outdoor dining options.... We liked the rooms and the good breakfast. We ate once in the restaurant and the food was good.

Lovely small hotel, very close to the lake, breakfast with local products, very charming decoration, sauna and natural swimming pool. Perfect for relaxing!

Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Clean and cosy room with upscale amenities and a lovely balcony. Dinner in the hotel's restaurant was fantastic. The breakfast was decent but no variety throughout the week. The lake is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel and guests are offered beach chairs at the private beach.

Located on the shores of the scenic Grundlsee Lake in the Styrian Salzkammergut, 5 km from Bad Aussee, MONDI Hotel am Grundlsee offers panoramic views over the lake and the mountains, a spa area, an... dog friendly place with lovely, welcoming staff. the location is also amazing, you have plenty options for walks and hikes. our room was big and clean. also wellness was clean and definitely great to enjoy after a long journey or long hike during the day.
