I booked a standard king-size suite with breakfast included which was excellent! There was great variety of food in the beautiful dining area and the servers were so courteous, polite, and professional (especially Kalongo? (hope I spelled his name right)). Room service was quick and attentive. The room itself was huge and the king-size beds were very large and extremely comfortable. Blackout blinds ensured that I had deep and restful sleep to help me get over jet lag quickly. The marble bathroom was luxurious and the shower water pressure was excellent! Appreciated also having a soaker tub in addition to a stand-up shower. Ample towels were provided and the bathrobe was nice touch. Location was quiet and serene, and perfect for me as I was attending a family wedding in a location only 2 minutes away from the hotel. The grounds were spectacular and a beautiful backdrop going for walks at anytime of the day. We attended the spa and were very well treated to a massage and nail care. My mom stayed in the nearby presidential suite which was top notch and great value for money. We were both blown away by how spacious the hotel rooms were the quality of service. We will definitely be returning to this hotel time and time again when future travel brings us to Johannesburg.

There is nothing like the generosity and hospitality of South Africa, and Leigh exemplifies this. She prepared delicious meals for us as we arrived late in Jhb one night and wanted a relaxed evening outside with friends the second. It felt such a treat to spend the evening outside at their lodge. Leighwood lodge has a beautiful, oasis like garden attracting all types of birds. We misplaced an item which Leigh effortlessly ensured made its way to us in Cape Town. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location ideal. Close enough to the airport. Highly recommend Leighwood lodge for business and tourist travelers.

Staff, breakfast, location, rooms and the choice of going to the golf club or eating at the hotel. Golf club had excellent food and the prices are a lot more reasonable than the hotel.

Really nice location in Glendower, in a safe area. Hosts greeted us upon arrival and gave us the exact timings for the dreaded load shedding that is unfortunately going on in SA at the moment. Close to a few restaurants near by and easy access to the highways.
