We enjoyed our stay! It is great to have a waterpark in the same hotel. The room was large enough, well furnitured, no carpet. It was not our first time at Cedar Point, so we can compare some hotels. And this hotel becomes our favorite!

Property was nice, clean and the location relative to the park cannot be beat. That said we stayed in a Sunday and a lot was not open in the way of food. The advertising of closed by noon is understandable but add that to what was closed and it felt odd and not welcoming to be staying there, more of a “if you must stay here tonight then so be it” type of vibe. The room was cheaper for the time of year but still 200 dollars to not feel welcome doesn’t leave the best taste in your mouth. We just bought our gold passes and were trying it out so we know for next year, and maybe it’s because we go to Disney World a couple of times a year but we are used to feeling more welcomed and not as though we are at a hotel shutting down operations the next day.

The staff members were extremely nice and accomodating, I liked the price we got for 3 nights for 2 connected rooms- that was really conveniant for us, as a family of 5 people.

Super clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants just steps away. Diner with real breakfast like 1/4 mile drive away.
Only downer was minimal "breakfast. To be fair, it did offer hot waffles. But no eggs that I saw.

Great location.
Great location. Many stores and places to eat in just a couple minutes walk. Only a few minutes down the road to the Cedar Point island road. Felt comfortable walking in the area and getting around by car is very easy and not congested as I had expected it to be.

I didn’t like anything about that place.
I didn’t like anything about that place. That’s why I left after 10 minutes of arrival. The place look very insecure people with bad ass suspect smoking marijuana were roam in the front of the facilities. The parking lot in the back had a huge sign said no parking next to a dumpster. The following day I receive an email from the property saying disregard the sign I was in there and I wasn’t gonna disregard the sign. I didn’t feel comfortable parking my car on the street with this suspicious looking people were standing and drinking and smoking.

We visited Golden Corral on our off day and in comparison to the other locations we vistied, this location was excellent. Good service and hot food. The Walmart as well, similar experience very tidy and clean. Overall travelling in Sandusky you feel safe and will have a great experience.

We were there for a baseball tournament at Sports Force. We stayed at Sawmill Creek and it was PERFECT, just 5 minutes down the road. Honestly, Sandusky was busy during the holiday weekend and it was nice to be able to go right down the road and avoid the traffic!

Cedar point is really it. Nickle Plate Beach was awesome.
Cedar point is really it. Nickle Plate Beach was awesome. Sandy at Shore Line Inn was amazing. And Sherry at Starbucks rocked. We are at steak and lube and the food was just ok. But I went to pay with cash and they said they were cashless bc I needed change. I still left a 50% tip because I’ve been in that industry for over 20 years. So I’ve NEVER heard of CASHLESS!! But my friend paid cash and didn’t need change and it was just fine.
Close to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Really nice to have a whole apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen and big living room at less cost than two hotel rooms near the park! This isn’t a fancy place, and had a couple of stains on the carpet, but it was clean, appointed well and had nice beds and bedding! Also, while we didn’t drink it (I had two teenagers with me) the owner had left us a bottle of wine in the fridge; which was a really nice gesture. He was also very easy to get in touch with when I had questions. Very responsive!
The location was within minutes of downtown Sandusky, the rooms where clean and with some modern updates. The breakfast was simple with an assortment of pastries, bagels, fruit, cereal, pancakes, yogurt, and a variety of juices and coffee or tea. The hotel was quiet and parking availability convenient if you have luggage.
Great location near restaurants and supermarkets and good access to Cedar Point. Despite being near the main roads the room was quiet. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The owner was very friendly on check in and welcoming. The decor is older however it has been very well maintained.
I just wanted to say the head housekeeper Crystal was amazing. Our room was really clean and even the hallways were super clean. We have stayed at a lot of hotels this summer and for the price we paid it was better than some of the three stars we stayed at. Super close to Cedar Point.
Staff provided exceptional customer service. Price was higher than I usually pay however it was my son’s wedding and worth the splurge. My previous experience with hotels in Sandusky was that most are not that nice and I wanted to stay in a nice place. I was not disappointed.
Close to Cedar Point, ferry, waterfront. Staff are very nice. Room is very clean and breakfast is very good for this type of hotel but they do run out of things if you sleep in and eat later. Yet, it is great to have breakfast included. Overall, another great stay!
Cheap room, easy to find, not far (about 25 minutes) from Miller Ferry to PIB. Probably close to Cedar Point as well if you are in town for that. We checked out out a day early to no fault of the hotel, we decided to spend the night in PIB. 8/10 would stay again.
The perfect budget hotel for a visit to Cedar Point. The hotel room was clean and large. The check in was easy, and the free bottles of water a nice touch. The breakfast was fine for the price, and perfect to fuel us before hitting the themepark.
I loved everything about this hotel; parking availability, clean and comfy beds, and the quietness of the place. The experience was just amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning to spend a night in Sandusky around Cider point.
I don't know the book keepers name but she was absolutely great. I want to come back just to see her lol she exceeded my expectations of the staff. 20 out of 10 the best hotel employee I've ever experienced.
