It’s the 2nd time we come to this wonderful hotel. We had the family room, and it was really nice and cosy. Lots of atmosphere, decorated with heart and passion. The host is very friendly and welcoming, giving lots of advices, even for a short stay like we did. Next time longer ;)

I regularly stay there when I come from the Finnlines Ferry from Helsinki, which arrives in the evening. The hotel is perfectly located at the first exit after leaving the ferry terminal on the way to the motorway, on which I can continue the next day. A simple, pleasant hotel, very useful due to its location.

It was great for eating and drinking - everything from cafes to restaurants.
We came to eat fish and were well-pleased.
Everything was an easy walk away. There are also 2 local stations and several bus lines with regular services.
The ferries across to the Priwall side of the river were covered by the Deutschland Transport Ticket.

We did not have beach weather and were limited to walking.
We did not have beach weather and were limited to walking. I would have been ok to leave again after 2 nights. If there is no weather for swimming, I find it a bit pointless in Travemünde and tiring to just go on walking excursions. Average age of travellers in Travemünde seems to be rather high. If you want to be among more young people, probably better to head to Timmendorfer Strand, about 5 kms to the North. Travemünde is great for ship-watching though. Huge ferries to and from Svandinavia and Findland in and out all the time.

We like Travemünde because it is the closest access to seaside from Hamburg. It has beach, harbour, plenty of restaurants and hotels. Apart from the seaside, there are few special sites, so we think that 1-2 days are enough to explore the place.

Loved visiting Gosch of Sylt... excellent price/value, very conscientious about Corona hygiene.
Great walk past the dog beach to Hermannshöhe if you can do it in the early part of the am (otherwise crowded with bicyclists).
Wonderful modern and clean hotel in a lovely resort style area in Priwall. The main town and beach is easily accessed via a pedestrian ferry that goes every 10-15 min, but the beach on this side is less crowded and perfectly OK to visit.
Rooms were comfortable and have everything you need, balcony is roomy, and the double rain shower with steam bath is a highlight. Perfect for a relaxed stay, can highly recommend and would love to come back!
We stayed only 1 night there, but it was wonderful ! The owner gave us a warm welcome, even tough we arrived very late from the ship. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel and specially all the details and little touches in our room. The breakfast was fantastic, and absolutely worth it. We can see that the owners are passionate about their work ! We’ll come back in summer to enjoy the garden :)
The whole hotel has only the restaurant and bar are facing to the see. The rooms are small and toward sides. If you open that small window could only see the neighbors.
The staff at reception is unfriendly and not willing to help anything. We forgot the charging cable at home, his advice was we must drive back and the whole Travemünde has no Type C cable.
The hotel is interesting and comfortable. It was very quiet and the staff were unobtrusive.
We liked the location and the view, comfort and warmth. The swimming pool area is nice and quiet, saunas nice with plenty of fresh towels. There are apples and water there, free of charge.
Spacious, lovely and clean apartment. Plenty of room for two people. Lots of storage space, practical layout. Lovely and clean bathroom. Nice seating area outside. Excellent location for the park, beach, ferry, train station, restaurants. You can walk everywhere.
Pretty hotel, with a vintage charm and excellent beach views from the rooms. The afternoon staff that welcomed us was super friendly. The breakfast is amazing and has great vegan options. Pool is nice, but cold. There’s a sauna and also extra spa services.
Breakfast was abundant and tasty. Room was clean and the air was fresh. Staff was really helpful even though we arrived really late. The hotel is located close to the harbour and has a great beach view.
The downside of this Hotell is still the food, which is expensive but very poor. Wine list is very short. Wintergarten is like a more posh school restaurant. However, the restaurant staff have improved.
We booked a corner room which had fantastic views over the sea and seafront. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable.
The hotel is located on the saefront and had ample parking.
It’s a short 5 min drive from Travemunde ferry terminal. Good one night stay - choice if your ferry arrives late, like ours. The rooms were very basic, but spotlessly clean.
