Quiet little pocket, great little community away from the highway... Where we stayed was off the beach, but a short distance to the beach, close to a walking trail, shops, shopping centres and all manner of facilities... didn't really need to travel outside of Coolum for supplies, it offered everything we needed. We came to Coolum Beach to visit family who live here now...
We came to Coolum Beach to visit family who live here now and had no real expectations. It is a layback, easy going place and the pace is slow and steady. Even though it rained for 7 days straight, the weather was still warm and being holiday season, it was busy, but not hectic. Lots of places to eat and drink and basically everything you need here. Was just what we needed. Check in was easy and staff were so friendly and helpful. Central to everything. The apartment was beautiful. Had all the facilities we could have asked for. Pool was incredible. Very quiet and peaceful. Would 100% recommend

Very good location with a great view but there are no mosquito nets in any window so you could not stay with the windows open and it would have been nice to hear the noise of the ocean and the breeze come in, then a little too old the interior definitely to be renovated. The bed is comfortable and a clean place, the garden and pool beautiful and well-kept . I would recommend it !!

Coolum Beach is a small town just 15 minutes drive from busy...
Coolum Beach is a small town just 15 minutes drive from busy Noosa. It still has a quiet, beach side atmosphere with families and locals making use of the facilities and setting. There are good a number of cafes and restaurants as well as a Surf Club, Bowls Club and Hotel/ Pub. plenty of choices for bottle shops and a large Coles in the centre of town. Coolum is a great location to be on the coast, central, but not in the high traffic areas of Noosa or Mooloolaba.

It was roomy, very well presented and provided all of the comforts of home including a much-appreciated washer and drier. I am very happy that I booked 3 nights in Coolum Beach because it was a convenient location from which to explore the Sunshine Coast. I am also very happy that I booked The Point Coolum because it is a stylish complex and it is in a serene location that is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

The view from the room was amazing overlooking the beach and the size of the room was also fantastic. The kitchen was also spacious and perfect for cooking if that's what you wanted to do. I liked the board games/books in the room and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Easy access to the hotel from the beach and the street, the pool and spa was a great addition and again, the location is unparalleled.
