I went away for a nice quiet trip for my birthday and to escape the chaos of London and that’s what I got. Östersund is a beautiful and quiet place to stay. I will definitely be coming back, I can’t wait to try the Swedish summer. Wayne’s coffee shop was n enjoyable place to stop and have some lunch.

Fantastic hotel in an old theater. Location - amazing - located in a city center next to the bus stations, 500 m down the hill to the train station, an old theater felling - amazing. Worth to mention is a smart way of serving the breakfast in the box if you leave earlier - you fill questionnaire a day before with your preferences helping to not waste food you don't need. Comparing to other hotels we visited - a very good internet connection.
The hotel was somewhat old, but it was functional, and the room was good, large (with an extra sofa bed), a good bathroom, a good bed. The breakfast was very good. The place is located right off the highway, close to a mini-mall.
It was convenient for a stop like ours, though a bit far from the center (we didn't go there, since it was very cold
outside). There was free parking outside.
The best and cosiest hotel in Östersund! Great location and in an plder building which gives it character. But the absolute best part of staying at hotel Emma is the breakfast! So mich to choose from and organic/locally produced products. We keep on coming back anytime we are in town.
Evening meal was a bonus.
Location was very good for the city.
Breakfast was very good for a "continental" style.
Tea and coffee facilities were appreciated, not always common in Scandinavia.
Staff went that extra mile to make for a pleasant stay.
Great athmosphere in the hotel. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast and comfortable beds. We were able to park close to the hotel on the public parking for a small fee. Hotel has a good location - less than 10 minutes to reach Stortorget.
This is a charming and unique place. Great location downtown on the walking street. Tasty breakfast spread. And the historic feel of the place was a welcome break from the typical hotel room. This place was a pleasure to stay in.
A very good choice while staying in Östersund, great location, very friendly and helpful staff and one of the best breakfast buffets I have had. I would love to come back to the Clarion Hotel Grand Östersund
The ambience of the hotel, the rooms, staff at the reception and the service was great. The spa was also nice. The spa therapist/masseuse Carina was fantastic.
The hostel is near the city center and there is a big common room and kitchen. Nicely decorated with old-fashioned skis and old-fashioned wooden surfaces.
