Hotel Laxnes exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was stunning, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the bar was amazing with friendly staff. Bart at reception was so friendly and accommodating, helping us organise spa access and a late checkout. The lobby and the room were clearly recently renovated and had a great modern vibe. The room had a kettle and free coffee and tea which is always appreciated. I also heartily enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool and cold plunge in the spa, which was very modern and dimly lit in the most relaxing way. Despite missing breakfast, the hotel went out of its way to accommodate us with lunch at the spa and I had a delicious burger before checking out. Parking was free and plentiful.
