Beautiful surroundings and a hotel with character with and modern furnishings. Best sleep I’ve had in a long time, pitch black rooms. Quiet, and the only buffet breakfast I’ve ever eaten all of.
Hewitt place is a pet-friendly apartment situated in Crewe, just a 3 minute walk from Crewe train station and 220 metres from Crewe Alexandra Football Club.

Everything! It was stunning, spacious, top of the range appliances. Ample towels, comfy bed, gorgeous shower, exceptional kitchen. Style was gorgeous and homely. So quiet, so peaceful and having a coded gate made me feel so secure and safe.

The architecture inside the Hall was stunning.
The architecture inside the Hall was stunning. We were able to walk around and admire it all due to there not being a function on.
We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and for breakfast.
We had an overnight stay and enjoyed using the leisure facilities which were top class.

the town center beside the railway station looks blighted...
the town center beside the railway station looks blighted very run down. We had a fabulous Thai meal in the town but all the buildings surrounded the restaurant were shabby. Litter was also a problem
The location is very close to Crewe town centre. A supermarket is a walk away.
It was a quiet location despite being in a town centre.
Excellent facilities including full kitchen, washing machine, dish washer.
Spotlessly clean.
Very helpful host.
Free parking is nearby (less than 100 yards). Drop off/ loading / unloading of cases available directly outside the property, which makes things easy.
TV with Netflicks and free wifi.
We chose to stay in Crewe overnight whilst watching a show at the Lyceum Theatre. The house was a 3 minute direct walk from the train station. I was contacted by the owner before arrival to understand accessing the key. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived. Spotlessly clean. TV and Wi-Fi available and bonus breakfast goodies to boot which we were not expecting. It really was a lovely stay and amazing value for money.
The location was immediate with Crewe town centre, and a half a mile from the railway station, which was fine, as i saw neither taxis no buses in the deeply depressed area of town. I paid under £40 a night, which was perfectly all right for accommodation very like a Universty hall of residence(and hence familiar to me). Also the small family run Polish restaurant right next door is excellent
Aged but basic comfort. I had a delux booking. It left me wondering if that is what I got. Welcome at reception quite cold. Very male orientated hotel and the security at the entry way a shock as the hotel don’t warn you of that. As a single woman travelling alone this is intimidating in the dark. A very cold welcome. There are cheaper, more luxurious options around.
The hosts of this stay were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless and a complimentary bottle of water was provided upon entry to your room. The shower and bathroom were also incredibly clean. I would absolutely encourage any person travelling to Crewe to book a room at this residence.
The reception team were very friendly and helpful, and tried very hard to help us (see below). The breakfast was perfectly reasonable and the rooms were tidy and clean. The area was quiet and felt safe. No problem finding a car parking space even though the hotel was busy.
Standard budget hotel offering, clean, comfy and decent breakfast choice. Friendly staff at the check-in and bar. Overall, good value for money. Would use again if I needed an early start from Crewe Railway station.
Such a lovely house, we loved the design inside and the space of the kitchen and bedrooms. Very easy to checkin, and great comms from the hosts. Plenty of free parking on the street, and very close to the town centre
- Cleanliness. Super clean, well maintained.
- Communication. Responsive and reactive.
- Price. Good rate for what you get and to spend a few nights
- Location, near town centre and 15 mins walk to Train station
