We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow. Durbuy center is very small and you can go through it in half a day or 1 day even. Although if you like walks in the nature and other activities, like horse riding or kayaking, it is nice to enjoy even more, on a long weekend or so. Very beautiful ancient town with a castle. It was lovely to walk through the winding streets looking at the old shops selling local produce. Nice topiary garden with many trees cut into interesting shapes. Beautiful river and geological rock formations. Quite small and does not take long to walk around.

Durbuy is a wonderful town in a UNESCO global geopark region that’s well worth visiting. With a good mix of both old historic and sympathetically added modern properties it’s very much a tourist hot spot. Durbuy is a magical place. The people are very kind & friendly. The Italian restaurant next the bakery on the Main Street is amazing. Our host Bernard was wonderful! The apartment was lovely. It was the best part of our trip!

A little medieval village from the XIV century,...
A little medieval village from the XIV century, representative of the area, laid down in a valley on the river bank. A picturesque view of a river, rocks, and a castle. It is called the smallest city that exists as its rights were gained in 1333 and the street structure with the layout dates from then. What makes an impression is that all the houses are built from stones with thick walls and small windows. There are many good restaurants and nicely located terrasse to sit and relax at good food or coffee.

He offered to guard them inside the structure in a room for the staff. Everyone was vey nice. 5and they speak perfect english) The wellness room is small, but it is perfect. The jacuzzi is easy to use and it is very big, the sauna as well is very nice (although is a bit small). The beds are so comfortable. The minibar is full of drinks and the price is not crazy. We had dinner at the restaurant and it pretty affordable, with a good selection of wines.AlessioItaly

The food at the hotel was exceptional and the set menu very good value for money. We looked forward to seeing what we were having for dinner each evening! The inside areas of the hotel were well maintained, especially the pool area. Despite a rainy week in the Ardennes, we always had a pleasant, warm and bright place to return to each evening.

Other than that, however, it is a super lovely place, with an amazing balcony. The park itself it also beautiful, even for a group of friends. The price that we had to pay was a fair price. The host was very friendly and there was a good communication. We were also given a bit more time than initially foreseen at the day we were to leave the property, making the last day more relaxed.
