Situata in una cascina ristrutturata accanto al Lago di Lagarfljót, nel paese di Eglisstadir, questa struttura offre sistemazioni luminose e moderne con TV a schermo piatto, connessione WiFi gratuita... We reached this hotel in the evening, after hours on road it was our safe and comfortable place. Thanks a lot to reception guy (we forgot to ask the name), he was really nice and gave us some advises about visiting places around, also shout out to Austėja, thanks for recomendations, we saved a lot of time during next day trip to Reykavik. One more thing to mention, this hotel will stay in my memory for the all life, as the first Nothern light was captured here! Breakfast was perfect! Best regards from griup of lithuanians! 💚

Situata a Hornafjördur, vicino al porto di Höfn, questa struttura offre l’opportunità di dedicarvi a svariate attività all'aperto. Nice modern hotel for a good price, a rarity in Iceland! We've paid more for hostels with a shared bathroom. Here we had a clean room with private bathroom, complementary coffee and tea, and a great view to top it off :-) Definitely try the Pakhús restaurant nearby: great langoustines and lamb! We walked toward the minigolf at midnight to see the northern lights and had a great night's sleep afterwards.

Dotato di viste panoramiche sul famoso ghiacciaio Vatnajökull e sulle montagne circostanti, l'Árnanes Country Hotel offre la connessione WiFi gratuita. The room was today and clean. Location was just outside of the main town to easy to travel in for food etc. Breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice and lots of homemade / local items. The staff were very friendly and informative as we were stuck in a storm due to road closures.

Situato in prossimità della Strada 1 dell'Islanda, a 25 km dalle sorgenti termali di Hoffell, l'Hotel Smyrlabjörg, azienda agricola a conduzione familiare, offre sistemazioni dotate di arredi... Location was great. The hotel is run by a family. During our stay an orange alert was announced due to bad weather conditions. We were stuck in the hotel and the family was so kind they gave all the information for choosing a safe travel plan and they let us stay almost till the end of the day. Food was exceptional and fabulous... Thank you Ms Pirna for your support...

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. Great place to have a stop for the night when entering the fjords. Good food friendly staff. And the hottub with the sauna makes it better.

Grazie alla sua straordinaria posizione, l'Hotel Skaftafell offre una vista mozzafiato sul monte più alto dell'Islanda, il Hvannadalshnjúkur, e sul più grande ghiacciaio d'Europa, il Vatnajökull. Hotel perfetto! Pulito ed accogliente.... Staff molto gentile. Ottima ed abbondante colazione. A mezz'ora dalla spiaggia dei diamanti...

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Our stay in this hotel was amazing. We had everything we needed. There was a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. The room was clean and comfortable for group of 3. Tasty breakfast with a lot of options. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great mountains view from the window. Around 10 minutes to the big supermarket. I would like to come back to this place again.

Il Berjaya Hérað Hotel si trova a Egilsstadir, a 5 km dal fiume Lagarfljot. Offre un bar con terrazza e il servizio in camera 24 ore su 24. Lovely hotel for when you are driving round Iceland. Staff are exceptional from reception to barman to restaurant staff. Friendly, open warm and generous. Staff really make a property and the staff here were no exception. Worth staying if you need a clean well appointed good value for money stay
